Wonderful character design! I love his horns and the glowie bits >w< I took a star off only because I would like to see the character more clearly (w/o the smoke) 'cuz I'm greedy hehe.

I really enjoy pixel art for some reason and yours is no exception! I especially love the details and the color palette for the buildings. My only suggestion to make it better would be to create a more natural "twinkling" effect for the stars by slowing down their flicker/sparkle rate (if that makes sense).
Anyways, its still loads better than any art I've ever done >w<. Keep up the good work!
